On this website I examine how to match music activities to language learning goals in adult English as a second language classrooms, through a process called "mickey-mousing." Adults, even more than children, need to see that music activities have been tailored to their specific language goals and needs. My thesis is that systematic exploitation of parallels between music and language enables a more targeted musical enhancement of language learning.
